Now before I drop this on you, I don’t want anyone jumping ship or committing hari-kari. I couldn’t live with myself.
I’ve decided that I need to take an extend break from cartooning. Now, when I say “extended” I’m only talking about 3 months tops. I won’t go into grueling personal details but I’ve got a very VERY busy summer ahead of me. What I REFUSE to do is put out half-assed comics just for the sake of putting them out. SO, what I’ve decided to do is go into re-run mode five days a week until I return fresh and recharged.
Believe me, the Pinkerton project will go on. I’ll still be here every day checking and responding to comments and questions (I hope you will too). PLUS, we’re working on new products. What, you ask? How about a full-sized Pinkerton collection from Th3rd World Studios chocked full of over 100 of your favorite Pinkerton comics plus commentary and a special introduction.
In addition to that, I will still be attending the scheduled comic-cons. I’d love to see you guys this summer so I hope you make it out to one.
As I said, I don’t want anyone freaking out. If you decide to stop reading the re-runs, I completely understand (I hope you don’t…you might miss something). Once summer is out of the way, I will be back (barring any catastrophic bus accident or a rogue comet). I’ll be here every day so please stick around.
For those of you who don’t give two rat nuggets about the re-runs, please check back in a few days. I will be posting a form where you can get on my mailing list and be notified about news, events, and and brand-new strips.
